The cave may be closed without warning. We reserve the right to refuse admission.

Access

 

The cave can be slippery and uneven underfoot. Access includes 21 steps and an incline to be ascended and descended. Visitors are advised to take care, use the handrail provided and wear appropriate, sturdy footwear.

There is no wheelchair or pushchair access. 

 

No pets allowed, except for registered assistance dogs.

Take care as historic sites can be dangerous.

There is no on-site parking. 

Royston Cave is a 4 minute walk from Civic Centre Car Park, SG8 7XB.

By train

Royston has frequent train services between London Kings Cross and Cambridge. Royston Cave is an 8 minute walk from the train station. Find our more at Trainline.

Royston Cave has no on-site toilet facilities. Nearby toilets are available as part of our community toilet scheme.

Royston Cave has no on-site parking. There are six public car parks throughout Royston.

Mid-week tours now available on Thursday 25th July at 1pm, 1.40pm and 2.20pm.
